On January 19, 2023 a person solicited me for a link from my main money website. The person that emailed me is allegedly an outreach person who was trying to get a link to an online casino website. The representative did not want me to acknowledge in the proposed post that the links were sponsored. I agreed that I would not outright state that the post was sponsored but instead I would acknowledge that this particular post was not an endorsement and I was going to add some text at the bottom of the post encouraging people to not gamble more than they can afford to lose and if they have a problem then they should call 1-800-NEXT-STEP.

Perhaps they did not like my proposal or did NOT like my proposed cost of placing that post. Either way as of January 24, 2023 I have not heard anything back from them. If you do outreach at all, be sure you start with the idea that a link on any website is probably going to start at $100 and go up from there. Don't do outreach expecting to pay $10 for a link, we are no longer in 2008.
