You Can Do This!

Hey everyone, Rob here with Buy SEO Services and today I wanted to go over some content that I had recently written about how anyone can improve their organic search engine ranking.

I say this tongue in cheek because I know not everyone possesses the knowledge to update and improve their own websites. But you do possess the knowledge to know whether or not you have certain business listings.

The first business listing I want to talk about is Google My Business, formerly known as Google Places. You would know that you have this by doing a search for your brand or business name using Google. As an example I am using Phoenix Movers Unlimited Inc within this video and you will notice that a business listing for these folks is returned within the search results.

The second most important business listing in my opinion is Bing Places. I'm sure a lot of you don't consider Bing an important search engine but you should always make the effort to get your business in front of as many eyeballs as possible.

How to Get Unlimited Back Links

You never know who will turn into your next best customer. You should know that Google makes up for approximately sixty five percent of all search traffic so that means that it's still important to try and show up in other search engines in addition to showing up in Google search results.

Once you have confirmed and established those two critical search engine business listings it's time to move forward with insuring your website is mobile friendly. Here is a link to Google's mobile friendly test. Sadly the website used as an example in this video is not mobile friendly. The biggest reason you would want to know about this as a business owner is so you can get this fixed.

User experience and user engagement signals play an important role for Google's organic search engine rankings. If Google feels like your website is not providing a good user experience or providing the best answer to their searcher's queries then they have no reason to hold your website in high regard by having it listed highly within their organic search results. Even if you don't possess the knowledge to make your website mobile friendly then I would encourage you to invest the money and hire someone who does. Mobile friendliness and user experience are just getting more important.

Site speed also has an impact on user experience and could adversely affect the return on investment of your advertising. It doesn't make a lot of sense to pay for traffic using PPC just to have those visitors bounce and leave your website before the page is fully rendered. This is a great example of what can happen when you have a slow loading website. Advertisers are going to get their money but you might now. Be sure to address this issue sooner rather than later. Check your website speed here.

I have always heard it said that content is king and while that may only be at least partially true, the brutal truth is that your content should measure up to that of your competitors in quality and quantity. You can dig deep when comparing content by actually diving into the source code of your competitors web pages. I belive control or command u will allow you to view the source code of any web page within most browsers. You can always select view and click on source code with your mouse as well.

When viewing the source code of any website you want to really focus on the title of the document and the meta title and meta keywords tags within the html document. I have heard that Google does not use the meta keywords tag that is inside the head of html documents but Google is not the only search engine I want my websites to rank in, therefore I continue using meta name equals keywords within my html code.

Securing your website has become a very big deal. This kind of gets back to the whole user experience and caring for your website visitor. The reality is that the cost of SSL certificates has never been as cost effective as they are today. Make the investment in your website and business and just secure your website already. You look a whole lot more credible with a secure website and the effect that credibility and trust have in a business transaction cannot be overstated.

It should be noted here that not all websites that display the https within the address bar of your internet browser are completely secure. It's important that your website ready as secure and display the green padlock or something similar to get all the yummy benefits of having a secure website. I also want to point out that if you are collecting any information from visitors at all then your website should be secure.

Schema or JSON-LD markup is an additional way you can tell search engines what your website is about. This stuff has been around for awhile, yet not everyone is using it. This is a great way to help set yourself apart from your competitors by adding schema markup to your website.

This additional markup is something that most people don't even realize is there because it's embedded within the html of the page that the average person never sees. However the search engines know it's there and it's just another way you can state clearly to the search engines what your website is about.

Reviews and social proof represent a solid way to reassure new potential customers. Just make sure you're not like the website in this video and have reviews that don't match the industry you're in. The example used in this video was a moving website that had a restaurant review on the homepage of their website.

Oh my, how embarrassing, lmao! The bottom line really is user experience. Google is paying attention to visitor behavior on every website. You don't want your website to be the one that everyone leaves because it's not secure, didn't load fast, has crappy content or is not mobile friendly.
